<p>We are seeking a Research Data Manager who will be responsible for the management of large, complex data sets for the assigned project/study.</p> <p>The Research Data Manager is responsible for.</p> <ul> <li>Data quality assurance checks. </li><li>Management of research data. </li><li>Creation of new summary variables. </li><li>Creation of datasets for investigators. </li><li>Creation of data tables for reports and papers. </li></ul> <p>Specific Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead and direct research data collection and management activities. </li><li>Perform data cleaning, including identifying potential problems with study data and collaborate with study sites to resolve issues encountered. </li><li>Create new summary variables. </li><li>Merge, create, and recode variables to prepare data for analyses. </li><li>Create datasets for analysis by other investigators. </li><li>Create tables and figures in publication-quality form summarizing the results of statistical analyses. </li><li>Write detailed documentation/specifications for analysis data sets and related files. </li><li>Attend staff meetings and provide updates on the status of projects. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in related field. </li><li>Five years related experience. </li><li>Additional education may substitute for required experience and additional related experience may substitute for required education beyond a high school diploma/graduation equivalent, to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula. </li></ul> <p>Classified Title: Research Data Manager</p> <p>Role/Level/Range: ACRP/04/MC</p> <p>Starting Salary Range: $48,000 - $84,100 Annually ($75,050 targeted; Commensurate w/exp.)</p> <p>Employee group: Full Time</p> <p>Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm</p> <p>FLSA Status: Exempt</p> <p>Location: Hybrid/School of Medicine Campus</p> <p>Department name: SOM Oph Pediatric Ophthalmology</p> <p>Personnel area: School of Medicine</p>
