Number 11548</p> <p>Share</p> <p>more</p> <p>As one of our Test & Measurement Sales Engineers/Account Managers, you will be part of a customer-focused team dedicated to maximizing sales through the development of new business and working closely with our existing customers utilizing a solutions-based sales approach. Product categories that enable our customers to succeed include spectrum/signal analyzers, network analyzers, signal generators, oscilloscopes, power meters, and communication test systems. We are currently looking for an Account Manager to be based in Maryland/DC/Northern Virginia area focusing on expanding our business into established and existing accounts and support our existing customers.</p> <p>Your tasks</p> <ul> <li>Understand customer needs and identify how Rohde & Schwarz products can provide technical solutions </li><li>Create new business opportunities and expanding Rohde & Schwarz brand awareness in new and existing customers </li><li>Effectively demonstrate and communicate how Rohde & Schwarz products can best solve the customers measurement/application problems </li><li>Grow the R&S market share and exceed quota </li><li>Develop and manage a strong sales funnel </li><li>Provide input and feedback to product marketing, service and development groups on customer product and application requirements </li></ul> <p>Exciting insights into Rohde & Schwarz</p> <p>Our colleagues provide insider information about:</p> <ul> <li>Daily adventures and challenges </li><li>Our passionate team </li><li>The technologies behind the innovative projects and solutions </li></ul> <p>Your browser does not support the video tag</p> <p>Your qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Must be a U.S. Citizen </li><li>B.S. in Electrical Engineering or similar technical field </li><li>10+ years technical sales experience, preferably in test industry </li><li>An understanding of current electronic industry technologies (aerospace and defense technologies a plus) </li><li>The ideal candidate will have a passion for selling, an intense focus on customer service, and an overwhelming desire to succeed </li><li>Excellent communication (verbal and written) and customer interface skills </li><li>The ability to travel throughout the territory with some possible out of territory/ international travel. </li><li>Experience in managing large and complex accounts </li><li>An existing and active network of productive relationships within the strategic account </li><li>Account management knowledge and experience selling into Government Prime contractor community is highly desired </li></ul> <p>Interested?</p> <p>We are looking forward to receiving your application!</p> <p>The total compensation for this position is $100K-$230K. Total compensation includes base salary, variable pay (when applicable) plus benefits. The range is determined by the position, geographic location and level.
