In collaboration with the Practice Manager, the position oversees the training, performance, scheduling, and evaluation of technical staff within the hospital.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Support and elevate Veterinary Technicians and Assistants within the hospital aiding individuals and teams reach their full potential. </li><li>Partner with the hospital leadership teams to identify goals, gaps, opportunities, and help effective solutions. </li><li>Collaborate with hospital leadership to develop and implement optimal nursing processes, workflows, and systems. </li><li>Coach veterinary technicians and assistants to strengthen critical thinking skills, clinical confidence, and decision-making. </li><li>Mentor, and develop nursing talent, supporting surgery, dental, inpatient care, exam room flow, and value communication. </li><li>Coach team members through conflict management and difficult conversations. Model, mentor, and foster: </li><li>Direct, respectful, and transparent communication. </li><li>Exceptional patient care standards. </li><li>Professionalism and an emotionally intelligent workplace culture. </li><li>A collaborative, team-based approach to care. </li><li>Promote a healthy work environment that supports engagement, well-being, and work-life balance. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in Colorado </li><li>Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician in a clinical setting. </li><li>Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership, management, or supervisory role. </li><li>Demonstrated success in mentoring, coaching, and developing team members. </li><li>Proven contributor within a high-functioning, collaborative, and effective team. </li><li>Strong organizational, time management, and prioritization skills. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Exceptional technical nursing skills with the ability to model best practices. </li><li>Ability to influence, coach, and inspire without direct authority. </li></ul> <p>You'll Grow with Us</p> <p>Here, you can grow your career as best fits you through access to comprehensive learning and skillset programs.
