<p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Perform quality work on conventional operated milling machines, lathes, and surface grinding machines </li><li>Use of Measuring and Test Equipment to ensure all dimensional requirements are met </li><li>Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and materials on machines </li><li>Work from and follow blueprints, diagrams, & written process instructions </li><li>Work with engineers, production personnel, and others to resolve issues </li><li>Inspect and document machinery for any needed repairs </li><li>Make minor repairs on machinery as needed </li><li>Any other duties as required by the Company </li></ul> <p>Required Skills / Knowledge</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of Company's Policies & Procedures </li><li>Knowledge of HS&E policy and able to interpret HS&E warnings </li><li>Knowledge and Skilled in computer software (MS Office, Word, Excel and internet navigation)\ </li><li>Knowledge of machine shop equipment (CNC machines, lathes, mills EDM, etc.) </li><li>Knowledge of machine shop theory, shop mathematics and layout techniques </li><li>Skilled in Oral and Written Communication (English) </li><li>Skilled in the use of dimensional measuring equipment </li><li>Skilled in setting up, programming and operating machine shop equipment (CNC machines, lathes, mills, EDM, etc.) </li><li>Ability to machine and measure to close tolerances (.0002") as required </li><li>Ability to read complex blueprint specifications, charts, and follow work orders and engineering instructions as necessary </li><li>Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.5 </li><li>Ability to read and write the English language per FAA regulations </li><li>Ability to work in a team environment </li><li>Ability to problem solve repair/overhaul problems </li><li>Ability to work under limited supervision </li><li>Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet company deadlines </li><li>Ability to focus on results, even when dealing with diverse, complex tasks for different jobs and projects </li></ul> <p>Experience</p> <ul> <li>2 - 4 years' experience manual machining on lathes </li></ul> <p>Education Requirements</p> <ul> <li>College or vocational high school education in machining and machining practices </li><li>High School Diploma or equivalent </li><li>Certificate of completion of college or high school machining courses. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Professional appearance and demeanor </li><li>Good dexterity (grip, grasp, clutch) </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50lbs. </li><li>Ability to sit/stand for up to 8 hours a day </li></ul> <p>What We Offer</p> <ul> <li>Supportive company culture that values its employees </li><li>Excellent training opportunities </li><li>Comprehensive Medical, Dental, Vision & 401 K Plan </li><li>On-Site Gym & Fitness Center </li><li>Paid Time Off & Holidays </li><li>Extra money in your paycheck - Employee Referral Bonus! </li><li>Personal Development & Career Succession Planning </li><li>Company sponsored Perks & Discount programs </li></ul>
