<p>Job Summary</p> <p>The professional Flight Instructor position is responsible for teaching in an academic flight training environment.</p> <p>TCCFlight Instructors may train students in a classroom setting, conduct flight/ground training, determine student proficiency, and document student progress andFAAtraining records.</p> <p>They are responsible for maintaining a safe training environment for the program.</p> <p>Responsibilities include but not limited to; training students in subject areas such as aircraft systems, operating procedures, handling emergencies, problem analysis, aircraft navigation, radio communications, airport operations, and aerodynamics.</p> <p>The position requires strict adherence toFAAregulations and approved training course syllabi.</p> <p>This is a Safety Sensitive position pursuant to Oklahoma StatuteOKLA. STAT. tit. 63, § 427.8 (2020).</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Must possess current FAA Flight Instructor certificates/ratings and current FAA Medical Certificate.</p> <p>CFII required.</p> <p>Philosophy compatible with that of a comprehensive community college.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>MEIpreferred.</p> <p>Bachelor's degree with a significant combination of training,experience or appropriate certification.</p>
