Job Overview Collateral Development Coordinator is a pivotal creative role responsible for designing and producing high-quality, visually compelling graphics and collateral materials to support business development, proposals, and marketing initiatives. This position blends graphic artistry with marketing communication, contributing to both the aesthetic and functional goals of CGS's business pursuits. The ideal candidate will demonstrate advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office, have experience supporting capture and proposal teams, and be skilled in adapting visual content to meet the needs of diverse audiences Work Model: Onsite/In-Office Responsibilities Essential Duties & Job Functions: Design and produce a wide variety of marketing and business development collateral, including brochures, infographics, technical illustrations, PowerPoint presentations, and proposal covers. Collaborate with Proposal Managers, Capture Teams, and Growth Operations staff to conceptualize and execute on-brand, visually effective design solutions. Apply layout principles and aesthetic design concepts to create sample layouts, concepts, and final graphics. Ensure consistency across all materials with CGS branding and strategic messaging. Tailor visual content to resonate with specific audiences, incorporating feedback from stakeholders to refine designs. Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing creative vision with time and budget constraints. Maintain a digital archive of images, templates, illustrations, and finalized design files. Research competitor materials and stay informed of emerging design trends and tools to maintain a competitive visual edge. Represent CGS at marketing and industry tradeshow events, assisting with booth setup and ensuring a consistent brand presence. Travel as required to support events, campaign rollouts, and on-site collaboration efforts. Capture event and campaign photography as needed and integrate original imagery into marketing materials (if qualified). Support video editing or motion graphics production using Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects (preferred). Perform proofreading and contribute to messaging consistency in visual materials. Perform other duties as assigned to support CGS's business development and growth objectives. Accountable For: Designing and developing marketing materials, including brochures, infographics, and presentations. Collaborating with the Manager to align marketing materials with business goals. Managing project timelines and budgets for collateral production. Using Adobe Creative Suite to produce high-quality visual content. Contributing to marketing campaigns by developing cohesive visual strategies. Tailoring collateral to specific audiences to ensure alignment with stakeholder needs. Working with internal teams to gather input and ensure alignment with business objectives. Staying current with industry design trends to maintain a competitive edge. Researching competitor materials to keep CGS's designs innovative. Ensuring collateral complies with brand guidelines and marketing strategies. Analyzing the effectiveness of collateral materials and suggesting improvements. Handling additional design and marketing responsibilities as required to support business development. Job Requirements Mandatory: Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design or related field. Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, preferably in a business development, proposal, or marketing environment. Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or After Effects a plus. Skilled in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel at an intermediate or higher level. Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities. Exceptional attention to detail and creative problem-solving. Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Team-oriented with a self-starting attitude and a passion for design. Willingness and ability to travel regularly and participate in on-site marketing and tradeshow events. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment background check and pre-hire drug test. Preferred: Experience supporting government contracting or federal business development efforts. Familiarity with proposal development processes and Shipley methodology. Understanding of brand management and compliance in a corporate environment. Photography background, including experience with professional-grade cameras, lighting, and editing. Knowledge of SEO and social media design principles. Working Conditions: Standard office environment with frequent travel required. Must be available for occasional work outside of standard business hours, including weekends or holidays, especially during events or proposal deadlines. Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit, stand, walk, and operate a computer for extended periods. Occasionally required to kneel, stoop, and lift up to 20 lbs. Must be able to carry equipment and assist with setup at tradeshow events.
