The Stain/Color Technician will make pre-booth quality checks of equipment. Mixing paint and stains utilizing MaestroHue under the direction of the Operations Manager. Performs other task as needed.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.</p> <ul> <li>Maintain a clean and safe work environment </li><li>Make pre-booth quality checks of equipment. Mixing paint and stains utilizing MaestroHue. </li><li>Adhere to all safety rules in dealing with hazardous materials. </li><li>Maintain a high level of production and quality to meet Metro goals per day. </li><li>Maintain clean and organized work areas, including the paint mixing room, spray booth, spray equipment, etc. </li></ul> <p>KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of safety standards applicable to the work area and other pertinent rules/regulations governing work standards </li><li>Ability to communicate well in a distribution operation environment </li><li>Ability to understand and follow directions </li><li>Knowledge of computers sufficient to perform general transactions </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED </li></ul> <p>EXPERIENCE</p> <ul> <li>1+ years of work history </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <p>Continuously stand/walk or lift/handle/carry material or equipment of moderate weight (20-50lbs) Examples: Nurses, LVNs and physical therapists</p> <p>ENVIRONMENT: Located in an environment with regular exposure to fumes or odors, temperature extremes, or loud noises which cause noticeable discomfort or moderate risk of accident or illness.
