This full-time (40 hours/week) Monday-Friday position will typically work 8 am - 4:30 pm (occasional evenings and/or weekends scheduled in advance) in a classroom setting. Staff will commute to early childhood centers in the North County and Normandy, MO area.</p> <p>What you will do:</p> <p>Empower children with developmental delays and disabilities by working 1:1 in a classroom setting to help them prepare for Kindergarten.</p> <ul> <li>Conduct screenings for social-emotional, developmental and behavioral delays </li><li>Provide early intervention services to ensure each child is developmentally appropriate in the areas of communication, fine motor, gross motor, personal/social and social emotional development. </li><li>Assist with resources and referral to services for children with identified concerns </li><li>Provide professional workshops for classroom teachers and partners as needed </li><li>Serve as liaison between service providers, teachers and families in accessing services </li><li>Work with classroom teachers, caregivers, mental health professionals and families to plan and implement classroom strategies and inclusive supports, including behavior consultation, and environmental and curriculum adaptations as needed. </li><li>Assist partnership sites to build capacity in areas of behavior management, positive discipline, identification and referral, and individualized instruction </li><li>Complete appropriate and required daily/monthly/quarterly paperwork </li></ul> <p>What you can expect from us:</p> <ul> <li>We'll celebrate and empower your unique gifts and contributions. </li><li>We'll help you help others.
