<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>To perform tasks necessary for maintaining continuous materials supply at each machine to enable efficient operations without disruption due to lack of materials.</p> <p>Job Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Maintains a clean and orderly work area/warehouse </li><li>Maintains a safe working environment by following all company safety policies and procedures and reports unsafe conditions and incidents, while maintaining quality standards </li><li>Maintains company's quality standards and follows computer procedures to handle damaged material and quarantine material </li><li>Reads work order or follows verbal instructions to ascertain materials or containers to be moved </li><li>Opens containers to prepare to be moved </li><li>Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand </li><li>Conveys materials from storage or work sites to designated area </li><li>Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials or marks information on cases, bales, or other containers </li><li>Loads/Unloads trucks </li><li>Lifts heavy objects by hand or with power hoist, and cleans work area, machines, and equipment to assist machine operators </li><li>Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products </li><li>Brings and takes away all Gaylord boxes for recycling to machines </li><li>Brings and takes away skids for machine operators jobs </li><li>Bands and stores all endplates, skids, and recyclable material </li><li>Empties all trash throughout shop </li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or General Education Diploma (GED) required </li><li>Must have tow motor experience and be able to successfully complete tow motor certification training </li><li>Ability to multi task and read production tickets </li><li>Ability to perform math calculations including fractions </li><li>Must be able to read tape measure, including micrometer </li><li>Must be computer literate </li><li>Ability to maintain production standards </li><li>Must be dedicated to continuous improvement </li><li>Must be able to lift 50 pounds, bend, stretch, or stand for extended periods of time </li></ul>
