<p>Collects, decontaminates, stores and distributes all reusable supplies and patient care equipment in the hospital.</p> <p>Reports to: Director - Surgical Services and Certified Sterile Processing Supervisor</p> <p>Provides inspection, decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of instruments and other patient care equipment in accordance with processing guidelines, AAMI, AORN, TJC, and OSHA requirements.</p> <p>Drag Edit Delete</p> <p>Operates departmental equipment daily according to manufacturer instructions with emphasis on safety.</p> <p>Drag Edit Delete</p> <p>Provides customer service to all departments with a focus on the patient need.</p> <p>Drag Edit Delete</p> <p>Processes and documents all sterile supplies and equipment daily using chemical, biological and mechanical indicators to verify sterility in accordance with manufacturer instructions and hospital policy.</p> <p>Drag Edit Delete</p> <p>Monitors and performs antimicrobial and disinfection solutions testing according to manufacturer instructions and documentation daily.</p> <p>Minimum Education</p> <p>High School Diploma or GED - Required</p> <p>Drag Edit Delete</p> <p>Required Skills</p> <p>Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
