This role ensures compliance with CAAHEP standards and requires a student-centered professional committed to clinical and instructional excellence.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Laboratory Instruction</p> <ul> <li>Prepare and maintain lab environments. </li><li>Supervise students and ensure safety compliance. </li><li>Demonstrate surgical techniques and evaluate student performance. </li></ul> <p>Classroom Instruction</p> <ul> <li>Teach Surgical Technology courses. </li><li>Develop and deliver curriculum aligned with program standards. </li><li>Assess student learning and maintain accurate records. </li></ul> <p>Clinical Coordination</p> <ul> <li>Coordinate and oversee clinical placements and student experiences. </li><li>Monitor student progress toward clinical competency. </li><li>Maintain documentation and ensure quality of clinical education. </li><li>Orient and collaborate with clinical site staff. </li><li>Assign students to sites and support clinical instructors. </li></ul> <p>Program Support</p> <ul> <li>Assist with accreditation and curriculum development. </li><li>Advise and mentor students. </li><li>Participate in ongoing professional development. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Associate degree in Surgical Technology or related field (Bachelor's preferred). </li><li>Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential (NBSTSA). </li><li>Minimum of 3 years recent surgical technologist and/or teaching experience. </li><li>Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program. </li><li>Knowledge of curriculum and student evaluation methods. </li></ul> <p>Additional Considerations:</p>
