U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance</p> <p>Security Clearance:</p> <p>TS/SCI with Polygraph</p> <p>Raytheon is currently seeking an entry level computer Systems Operator that will perform a rotational watch standing position for overall operations of a complex message communications system.</p> <p>What You Will Do:</p> <ul> <li>Visually monitor computer system displays for any anomalies and provide corrective actions as required. </li><li>Understand and act in accordance with message routing priority schemes and classification considerations. </li><li>Ensure that projects are complete on schedule, following established procedures and schedules. </li><li>Work in an open environment with frequent and direct interaction and collaboration with customers and peers. </li><li>Ability to monitor computer systems for extended periods of time. </li><li>Ability to walk up and down stairs often. </li><li>Ability and willingness to work non-traditional work hours - specifically, rotating shifts (6:00pm to 6:00am and 6:00am to 6:00pm) work, with 12 hour shifts (a "2-2-3" schedule) with every other weekend off. Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required. </li><li>Must be able to distinguish the difference between all colors on a computer monitor. </li><li>Must have the ability to provide communication support. </li><li>Active and transferrable TS/SCI with polygraph U.S. government issued clearance is required prior to start date </li></ul> <p>Qualifications You Must Have:</p> <ul> <li>Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years of prior relevant experience </li><li>Experience with using intelligence-based communication systems. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications We Prefer:</p> <ul> <li>Experience with troubleshooting application and/or system problems. </li><li>Experience with messaging or other applications and/or technology related to communications. </li><li>Experienced with message routing priority schemes and classifications considerations. </li><li>Experience with crypto management and/or work experience with encryption devices is beneficial. </li><li>Knowledge of various security categories in the delivery of messages is a plus. </li><li>Experience with messaging in a communications center environment. </li><li>Knowledge of network operations and components is very helpful. </li><li>Experience making critical decisions. </li></ul> <p>What We Offer:</p> <ul> <li>Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
