Be part of the journey.</p> <p>Role Overview and Responsibilities</p> <p>Summary: The Quality Assurance Test Engineer will support the electronics manufacturing process by developing, enhancing, and maintaining test systems to ensure both internal and customers' quality requirements are achieved. Enhancing existing test systems would entail activity to increase first pass yield, throughput, and test coverage. Developing test processes and systems based on customer or TT Electronics test specifications is key activity. Calibration of test equipment and other production equipment would be part of this role.</p> <p>Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:</p> <ul> <li>Perform calibration coordination duties for all production equipment which includes test equipment. </li><li>Design or maintain Automated Test Equipment (ATE) or Manual Test Equipment (MTE) to functionally test at the PCB assembly or box build/system level. </li><li>Design or maintain In-Circuit Test (ICT) Keysight 3070 processes for testing at the PCB assembly level. </li><li>Design or maintain Seica Flying Probe processes for testing at the PCB assembly level. </li><li>Support production test department in the form of safety hazard mitigation, test system maintenance, implementing continuous improvements, and developing accurate test procedures. </li><li>Lead technical discussions related to all test systems with internal/external customers. </li><li>Direct technical personnel related to fabrication, test, debug or system validation. </li><li>Familiar with software tools such as Altium, PADs or Cadence for PCB schematic generation. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications, Skills and Attributes</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Candidate will be expected to exhibit high ethical standards and promote the same within the company.</p> <p>Skills and Attributes</p> <ul> <li>Education/Experience/Credentials: Preferred BSEE/BSEET or demonstration of a high level of experience related to electronics test system and test process engineering. Minimum of 5 years of experience in test system and fixture design and maintenance. </li><li>Language Ability: Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Ability to read and analyze periodicals, business reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, customers, team members and the general public. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions. The Individual must possess strong skills in grammar and proofreading. </li><li>Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as averages, standard deviation, proportions, percentages. Understand Boolean Logic, binary, hexadecimal and octal numbering systems as well as utilize general algebraic and geometric tools. </li><li>Reasoning Ability: Ability to collect data, solve practical problems and deal with variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Ability to maintain a professional and positive image in any situation using good judgment. </li><li>Computer Skills: Ability to use business software, including MS Word, MS Excel, Databases, Slide Presentations, Internet browsers, E-mail, and business systems software. </li><li>Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has no supervisory responsibilities. </li><li>Work Environment: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
