<p>Position Summary</p> <p>A Driver 1 is responsible for transporting residents to and from scheduled appointments, activities and other functions or locations. Driver 1 may transport visitors and employees for special occasions, as designated. The position operates company vehicles that do not require a certified driver's license (CDL) and is expected to always adhere to road and safety rules. May escort resident into or out of the location and/or may wait for the resident during the visit or appointment, when appropriate.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinates and communicates transportation vehicle service appointment information with maintenance staff, supervisor and/or service vendors as required.</p> </li><li> <p>Accommodates the pick-up and drop-off of community vehicles to and from service appointments.</p> </li><li> <p>May run errands for residents and management staff as requested.</p> </li><li> <p>Completes transportation-related documentation, processes charges, and makes/sends reminders in accordance with community policy and procedure.</p> </li><li> <p>Advises supervisor of needed vehicle repairs and other needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintains cleanliness and proper service for each vehicle (fuel, lubricants, etc.); immediately reports wear and tear or damage to the supervisor.</p> </li></ol> <p>Westminster Village North is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer</p> <p>This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
