<p>This position holds primary responsibility for the successful delivery of all technical and specialty core curricula. This position also holds responsibility for the mentoring and development of other trainers within the department and will assist with the assessment, design, and evaluation of all core curricula. Workforce Trainers may have expertise in member-facing training, compliance, lending, or other technical expertise.</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Conduct in-house training programs for staff and customized training courses using a variety of instructional materials, participant materials, job aids, and software programs to facilitate job skills development. Responsible for the preparation of class materials and coordination of training classes. </li><li>Assist in the design, development, implementation, and evaluation of training programs to meet the training needs of the organization and Ent University curricula for a variety of modalities including but not limited to in-person, virtual, and asynchronous learning experiences. </li><li>Maintain liaison with all departments and key managers of the credit union to ensure the accuracy, currency, and consistency of all training materials. Monitor industry developments and trends to ensure effective utilization of learning practices. </li><li>Bank Secrecy Act: Remains cognizant of and adheres to Ent policies and procedures, and regulations pertaining to the Bank Secrecy Act. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Formal Qualifications for this Position</p> <ul> <li>Associate's Degree in Education, Communications, Finance, Accounting, Financial Planning, Economics, Business Administration or a related field. </li><li>4+ years' formal training and development teaching experience in either a school or corporate environment to include: Required </li><li>1+ years' experience in a financial institution. Required </li><li>2+ years' formal training experience in a corporate/collegiate-level environment using adult-level techniques. preferred </li></ul> <p>Technical or Specialized Knowledge/Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Advanced knowledge of adult learning, facilitation, instructional design, and development is required. </li><li>High comfort level with public speaking. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Expertise in technical writing to include training manuals, memoranda, and proposals. </li><li>Knowledge, application, and professional experience in adult learning theory, methodology, instructional design and training systems, practices, and techniques. </li><li>Experience in professional presentations, including teaching adults or teaching at the college level. </li><li>Ability to develop professional presentations. </li><li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple and diverse projects. </li><li>Demonstrated problem-solving ability and consistent, logical, and effective decision-making skills. </li><li>Basic ability in technical writing to include training manuals, memoranda, and proposals. </li></ul> <p>Certifications Required:</p> <ul> <li>Instructional Design, Curriculum Development, or other similar certifications. preferred </li></ul> <p>Environmental, Physical and Psychological Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Standing - Occasionally </li><li>Walking - Occasionally </li><li>Sitting - Frequently </li><li>Lifting - Rarely (40 Lbs) </li><li>Carrying - Rarely </li><li>Pushing - Rarely </li><li>Pulling - Rarely </li><li>Balancing - Rarely </li><li>Stooping - Rarely </li><li>Kneeling - Rarely </li><li>Crouching - Rarely </li><li>Crawling - Rarely </li><li>Reaching - Occasionally </li><li>Handling - Occasionally </li><li>Grasping - Occasionally </li><li>Feeling - Occasionally </li><li>Talking - Frequently </li><li>Hearing - Frequently </li><li>Repetitive Motions - Frequently </li><li>Eye/Hand/Foot Coordination - Occasionally </li><li>Noises louder than normal speaking volume - Occasionally </li><li>Temperature Changes - Rarely </li><li>Atmospheric Conditions - Rarely </li></ul>
