<p>Job Summary:</p> <p>Proficient in casting and splinting applications and associated procedures</p> <p>Proficient in dressing changes, associated applications and suture removal</p> <p>Consistently orders and manages casting supplies to ensure adequate inventory</p> <p>Educate patients and caregivers of specific care related to casts, splints, dressings, and durable medical equipment</p> <p>Maintain appropriate levels of casting and splinting supplies</p> <p>Fit patients and give appropriate instruction on a variety of DME</p> <p>Familiar and proficient in EPIC EMR and BREG DME Dispensing software systems</p> <p>Knowledgeable and familiar with billing and insurance procedures and is capable of anticipating doctors and patients needs while performing on a multi task level</p> <p>Assists patient care staff with rooming patients and performing vital signs as needed and available</p> <p>Facilitates patient flow by coordinating patient care in a timely and efficient manner</p> <p>Maintains patient confidentiality and complies with all HIPAA rules and regulations</p> <p>Available for Ortho Now evening coverage as needed</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree and certification by the BOC (Board of Certification - NYS Athletic Training Licensure).</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <p>Work Days:</p> <p>Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm</p> <p>Message to Applicants:</p> <p>Our benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, eligibility for employer 401k funding after 1 year (3% quarterly/5% annual on vesting schedule), tuition reimbursement, generous paid time off, including vacation and personal time, paid sick leave, holidays and floating holidays.</p> <p>L1: $60,406 - $64,272</p> <p>Please note the salary information shown is a general guideline only.
