If you have experience in childcare and a passion for empowering young people, apply now.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>We are looking for a Statehouse Education Center Camp Attendant to supervise and engage with campers in our summer camp programs. This position will be Part-Time and On-Site.</p> <p>This position does not offer employment sponsorship. All candidates must be eligible to work without need for sponsorship by employer.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li> <p>Supervise campers to ensure a healthy, safe, and enjoyable camp environment</p> </li><li> <p>Oversee transitions to and from scheduled events, field trips, and lessons</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitate and actively participate in group activities and programs for campers</p> </li><li> <p>Plan and implement creative and engaging activities for school-aged children (2nd through 5th grade)</p> </li><li> <p>Monitor campers' behavior and provide support in conflict mediation</p> </li><li> <p>Uphold a non-Partisan approach while interacting with campers and staff</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure the safety of campers during potentially strenuous physical activities</p> </li></ul> <p>What You'll Need</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li> <p>1-2 years of experience in childcare, teaching, or camp counseling</p> </li><li> <p>Proven organizational and multitasking skills</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with children</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to participate in physical activities as required</p> </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li> <p>CPR certification</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated skill in conflict mediation</p> </li></ul> <p>Physical Demands</p> <ul> <li> <p>Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards</p> </li><li> <p>Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor</p> </li></ul> <p>#DNP</p> <p>Reasonable accommodation statement</p> <p>If you require a reasonable accommodation in completing this application, interviewing, completing any pre-employment testing, or otherwise participating in the employment selection process, please direct your inquiries to application.accommodations@cai.io or (888) 824 - 8111.</p> <p>$18.25 per hour</p> <p>The pay range for this position is listed above.
