<p>We are looking for a Plastic film process engineer to join our team at Elbit Systems Ltd- Hydrolite, located in Caesarea</p> <p>Hydrolite is a leading Israeli company in the development of hydrogen-based electrochemical devices for generation of green electricity. For its membrane activity, Hydrolite is looking for a talented process engineer who will be in charge of scaling up the membrane fabrication process complying with the highest quality standard in terms of thickness and uniformity control as well as absence of impurities and voids. After thoroughly understanding the fabrication process, he/she will be in charge of defining the right equipment for the manufacturing and the in-line quality control of the film. He/she will be part of a multidisciplinary team of researchers in the fields of materials science and chemistry. He/she will assist the team in all the fabrication steps and perform hands-on works when required</p> <p>Role description</p> <p>Lead the scaleup, manufacturing and quality control of the membrane fabrication process using previous experience in the field of plastic and composite film fabrication</p> <p>Identify, contact and visit manufacturers in Israel and abroad to define precisely the needs, lead the testing phase at the manufacturer site and purchase the required machinery for the fabrication of the film and in-process control of the quality</p> <p>Lead the membrane fabrication and QC internally</p> <p>Report progress to the team, interact with other team members and plan next steps</p> <p>Requirements</p> <p>BsC or MsC in Materials Engineering or Process Engineering</p> <p>Five years experience in plastic film industry</p> <p>Proven experience in major plastic film production processing (blown film and cast film extrusion, film calendaring)</p> <p>Up to date with latest plastic film manufacturing methods and quality control for defect-free products</p> <p>Deep understanding of interplay between polymer melt rheology and process requirements for high quality fabrication of thin defect-free films</p> <p>Know-how of resin impregnation for film composite fabrication such as long-fiber reinforcement methods</p> <p>Team player</p> <p>Project leader</p> <p>Excellent relationship with manufacturers and suppliers</p> <p>Proficiency in spoken and written English</p> <p>Ready to travel abroad</p> <ul> <li>Only relevant applications will be answered </li></ul>
