<p>Position Title: 1.0 FTE Speech Language Pathologist</p> <p>FLSA: Exempt</p> <p>Reports to: Building Principal, Evaluation Team Supervisor and Director of Special Education</p> <p>Terms of Employment: 184 day work year. Benefits and salary in accordance with the LEA Unit A collective bargaining agreement</p> <p>August 31, 2026 start date. FY26 salary scale may change based on completed negotiations.</p> <p>Unit A 25-26 Salary Range</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Supports Instructional programming by providing speech/language therapy to students as required. </li><li>Schedules students into appropriate instructional groups </li><li>Provide therapeutic services in both the general education and Speech office to students with a wide variety of speech and language disorders and student needs </li><li>Performs diagnostic evaluations and implements treatment plans in relation to student needs </li><li>Consults and collaborates with classroom teachers and other school staff members to implement effective therapy </li><li>Serves as a consultant to school staff members in the development of services </li><li>Participates in Team and parent meetings </li><li>Responsible for goal writing and occasionally serving as liaison for IEPs </li><li>Keep thorough records of the individual student receiving services </li><li>Assists with mobility, transitioning and personal care as needed </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li><li>Knowledge of AAC preferred </li></ul> <p>Job Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's degree in Communication Disorders, Speech and Language Pathology or a related field </li><li>DESE licensed as Speech Language Pathologist </li><li>Holds Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or has completed requirements and application with ASHA is pendin </li><li>We cannot support Clinical Fellowships at this time </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
