Visit us at www.core-states.com.</p> <p>Summary of Position:</p> <p>The Electrical Project Engineer, supporting our Electric Vehicle Infrastructure team, will lead the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for commercial projects in the electric vehicle charging space, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards. This role is pivotal in managing power distribution systems, and medium voltage equipment, to deliver reliable and efficient electrical solutions. The engineer will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including design, and construction to ensure project milestones are met on time and within budget. You align with our Core Values of: Integrity, Service, Excellence, Innovation, Inclusion.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develop complete electrical design packages for Level 2 / DCFC EV charging installations, including site layouts, single-line diagrams, conduit and wiring plans, and load calculations. </li><li>Conduct electrical load analysis and service capacity evaluations to determine utility upgrade requirements. </li><li>Ensure all designs comply with NEC, local building codes, and utility standards. </li><li>Prepare permit-ready drawings and documentation for AHJ submissions. </li><li>Conduct site walks to verify existing electrical infrastructure, panel capacity, grounding conditions, and charger placement feasibility.
