This is an excellent opportunity to work within a nationally recognized Federally Qualified Health Center where treating the whole person is at the heart of what we do.</p> <p>Summary</p> <p>The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse practices medicine under a collaborative agreement with a departmental physician, with both disciplines practicing within the scope and boundaries of State regulations. Provides reasonable and prudent medical/surgical care, practices appropriate management, and uses sound clinical judgment based on best practice standards and evidence-based medicine. Provides general medical care, patient education, and treatment to patients of CS-HHC. Promotes and maintains health by providing services under the supervision of the Department Chief/Physician.</p> <p>Don't miss your chance to join us! CPR certification is required. </li><li>Nurse Practitioner with work experience and a knowledge base to perform the duties. One (1) year of experience as a health care provider is preferred; however, new graduates are welcome. </li><li>We are an approved HRSA loan repayment agency including the newly expanded federal substance repayment program. </li><li>We provide continuing education credits to advance learning opportunities and maintain your professional license. </li></ul> <p>Per Diem Requirements:</p> <p>The position requires a flexible availability from Monday through Friday 8:30a to 5pm, and Saturday from 8:30 - 12:30pm, with shifts of up to 8 hours per day during the week, as needed. Responsibilities include providing coverage for colleagues' sick days and vacation time.
