Ready to make an impact in a place where you matter?</p> <ul> <li>Position Summary </li></ul> <p>In this role as an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will assist with maintenance and repair operations of the production equipment & building HVAC equipment to continuously improve operations of production lines and complete Preventative Maintenance requests. Will be accountable for machine down time and involved in maintaining the entire plant's physical property.</p> <p>Weekly Shift Schedule</p> <p>Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Troubleshoot and complete basic repairs of hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems; assist in more complex equipment repairs.</p> </li><li> <p>Work in a team environment and assumes a team role while being engaged in departmental problem-solving operations.</p> </li><li> <p>Learn to process and complete all Preventative Maintenance requests for the respective departments in a timely manner and according to training provided.</p> </li><li> <p>Preventive Maintenance on rooftop HVAC units, to include clean coils, replace filters, tighten belts, inspect motors, check relays, wires, & sensors.</p> </li><li> <p>Answer calls for production support and assist in changeovers and setups.</p> </li><li> <p>Use a variety of hand and power tools, such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, wrenches, precision measuring instruments and other shop tools and equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Support Lean Manufacturing goals, including all 6S processes and good communication to the production teams and management.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop a customer/supplier relationship with the production teams.</p> </li><li> <p>Follow all safety guidelines and promote safety in the work areas; is always respirator-fit ready.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties as assigned.</p> </li></ul> <p>Knowledge and Experience</p> <ul> <li> <p>One year of production maintenance experience required.</p> </li><li> <p>Background in Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) required. HVAC Background to include demonstrated coursework and employment as HVAC specialist or helper.</p> </li><li> <p>Forklift experience - driving authorization required within three (3) months of acquiring position.</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of safe use of various equipment (such as drills, saws, hand tools, electronics, and welder torch).</p> </li><li> <p>Mechanical aptitude to perform equipment troubleshooting and repair/rebuild, with emphasis on HVAC equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to read and understand product quality requirements, basic schematics, and diagrams.</p> </li><li> <p>Upon work assignment, ability to plan, prioritize and manage daily activities (self-motivated and self-directed).</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work on a team or, at times, independently in a multi-tasking environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Understand, comprehend, and comply with Lock Out Tag Out procedures for all equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability and willingness to successfully complete the 24-hour Haz-Mat training.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong communication and customer skills are needed to keep the customer well-informed of the status of their department's equipment.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated ability to be flexible and supportive to meet changing work demands preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated knowledge of electrical systems. Ability to troubleshoot and apply basic principles to PLC, digital electronic and electrical devises, and read AC and DC circuits preferred.</p> </li></ul> <p>Education and Certification</p> <ul> <li> <p>High school diploma or equivalent.</p> </li><li> <p>Associate degree in electrical or mechanical field of study or equivalent experience in a manufacturing or HVAC service environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Participation in an accredited HVAC training program preferred.</p> </li></ul> <p>Compensation Range for the Position:</p> <p>$21.65 - $28.68 - $35.71 USD</p> <p>Target Cash Profit Sharing for the Position:</p> <p>5.00%</p> <p>Offer amount determined by experience and review of internal talent.</p>
