We are seeking a Emergency Preparedness Professional. The Emergency Preparedness Professional provides oversight and support to Logistics & Storage operating components in the areas of emergency preparedness, incident response, related policies and procedures, Incident Management Teams (IMT), and Oil Spill Removal Organization (OSRO) management. This role will primarily support assets throughout the Southeastern U.S., however, may periodically support assets across the U.S.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Supports development, maintenance, and field execution of emergency response programs to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and conformance to MPC corporate standards.</p> </li><li> <p>Instructs Emergency Response and Incident Command System (ICS) training, facilitates drill design and agency/stakeholder coordination to meet Federal and State Regulatory criteria, and supports the development and renewal of Emergency Response Plans.</p> </li><li> <p>Conducts auditing on Emergency Response programs to verify compliance and conformance with regulatory and MPC standards. This includes analyzing drill performance data and lessons learned to identify and report trends, as well as proposing recommendations to address areas of concern.</p> </li><li> <p>Builds and maintains positive working relationships with community stakeholders and regulatory agencies with jurisdictional oversight for facilities/assets in assigned region.</p> </li><li> <p>Represents company in key industry meetings and attends area contingency planning meetings.
