<p>Manager, Operations</p> <p>Location: Ravena, NY - On-site</p> <p>About the Role:</p> <p>As an Operations Manager at Curaleaf, you'll be the driving force behind the smooth and efficient production of our high-quality cannabis products. You'll lead a team of dedicated professionals, ensuring day-to-day operations - from prepping to packaging - run like clockwork while meeting strict safety, quality, and compliance standards.</p> <p>This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys building strong teams, and knows how to balance hands-on leadership with big-picture thinking. Whether you're fine-tuning production schedules, solving problems on the floor, or collaborating on long-term strategy, your work will have a direct impact on the products Curaleaf customers know and love.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Oversee day-to-day production operations, including prepping, packaging, and processing. </li><li>Maintain a clean and compliant facility, ensuring all equipment and spaces meet cGMP standards </li><li>Create and manage production schedules and inventory tracking </li><li>Coach, mentor, develop, and support your team, setting clear goals and offering ongoing feedback </li><li>Ensure quality control with regular QA/QC testing and data review </li><li>Establish systems to measure operational effectiveness and continuously improve performance </li><li>Manage budgets and control expenditures </li><li>Operate and maintain sophisticated processing equipment </li><li>Create and maintain SOPs, training documentation, and safety records </li><li>Keep the department compliant with all state and federal regulations and ensure that the operation adheres to all business and industry license requirements. </li><li>Report regularly to the Director of Operations on performance, metrics, and improvements </li><li>Contribute to strategic planning and long-term operational growth </li></ul> <p>What You'll Bring:</p> <ul> <li>BS/BA in Engineering, Chemistry, or a related field </li><li>5+ years of experience in a leadership role in a production or manufacturing environment </li><li>Proven leadership experience managing large teams </li><li>Proficiency with data analysis, production KPIs, and continuous improvement strategies </li><li>A commitment to quality, safety, and compliance </li><li>Strong ability to prioritize tasks, meet tight deadlines, and manage multiple production challenges with a sense of urgency </li><li>Skilled in handling conflicts and navigating difficult situations with professionalism and tact </li><li>Excellent communicator who fosters a collaborative, team-oriented work environment </li><li>Results-driven with the ability to set, track, and communicate KPI performance to senior leadership </li><li>Hands-on, high-energy leader who thrives in fast-paced, dynamic environments </li><li>Proficient in planning workloads, managing schedules, and implementing systems aligned with company goals and strategic initiatives </li><li>Strong knowledge of processing and packaging technology </li><li>A talent for training and motivating others </li><li>Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment </li><li>Strong analytical and organizational skills </li></ul> <p>Even Better If You Have:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in the cannabis, food & beverage, or pharmaceutical industry </li><li>Familiarity with cannabis-specific regulatory requirements </li><li>Experience developing and executing strategic operational plans </li><li>A passion for innovation and driving change through data-driven decisions </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements & Work Environment:</p> <p>While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hand to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. Employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 or more pounds and regularly move up to 25 pounds.</p> <p>The noise level in the work environment is normal. The employee is frequently exposed to an environment of natural chemical fumes, herbal aromas, airborne particles, exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. Employee will have moderate exposure to conditions such as dust and particles that affect the respiratory system, eyes, or the skin, depending on department job assignments.
