We are seeking applications for part time faculty in Art History for fall 2025.</p> <p>COURSES AVAILABLE FOR FALL 2025:</p> <p>Early 20th Century Art, Hybrid, meets Monday 4:30 pm - 5:45 pm in-person</p> <p>Art Survey: Prehistoric to Middle Ages, Tuesday and Thursday, 9:45-11:00 am, in-person</p> <p>Art Survey: Prehistoric to Middle Ages, online</p> <p>Art Survey: Renaissance to Present, Monday and Wednesday, 9:20- 10:35 am, in-person</p> <p>Art Survey: Renaissance to Present, online</p> <p>Islamic Art, Monday and Wednesday 11:30-12:45 pm, in-person</p> <p>EXAMPLES OF DUTIES:</p> <ul> <li>Teach course(s) in specific discipline </li><li>Responsible for instructional preparation and assessment of student performance </li><li>Provide assistance to students by appointment </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Required Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>An earned Master's Degree in Art History </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Ph.D. along with collegiate teaching experience preferred </li><li>A demonstrated commitment to promoting domestic diversity and/or global multiculturalism in the curriculum where appropriate. </li></ul> <p>EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: Applicants who do not meet the qualifications as stated above are encouraged to put in writing precisely how their background and experience have prepared them for the responsibilities of this position.</p> <p>Additional Information:</p> <p>Salary:</p> <p>Salaries for current Westfield State University employees and individuals currently working for the state of Massachusetts must be calculated individually in accordance with collective bargaining agreements as well as state policies.
