<p>Description</p> <p>We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Inventory Technician to join our team. The primary responsibilities include receiving medications using computer systems and accurately placing them on shelves. This role is essential for maintaining our inventory and ensuring the smooth operation of our pharmacy services.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Receive and process incoming medications using computer systems. </li><li>Accurately place medications on shelves according to established procedures. </li><li>Verify the accuracy of shipments against purchase orders and packing lists. </li><li>Maintain organized and clean storage areas. </li><li>Assist in conducting regular inventory audits and cycle counts. </li><li>Communicate any discrepancies or issues with inventory to the Director of Purchasing. </li><li>Follow safety protocols and procedures for handling medications. </li><li>Assist with other inventory-related tasks as needed. </li><li>Assist with pharmacy technician duties as needed </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Licensed as a Connecticut pharmacy technician </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or inventory management history is a plus. </li><li>Strong computer skills. </li><li>Strong attention to detail and accuracy. </li><li>Ability to lift and carry medications and boxes up to 50 lbs. </li><li>Excellent organizational and time management skills. </li><li>Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment. </li><li>Previous experience in a pharmacy or inventory management role is preferred but not required. </li><li>This is a standing role with limited down time to sit. </li></ul>
