<p>The Department of Biological Sciences invites applications for a 10-month term (non-tenure track) faculty position as Teaching Assistant Professor to begin September 1, 2025, with teaching responsibilities commencing in the Fall of 2025. The area of applicant specialization should be in at least one of the following areas: microbiology, cell biology, or genetics.</p> <p>We seek candidates with a demonstrated record of effectiveness or potential as both a laboratory coordinator and instructor for a variety of biology courses and a commitment to continued development as an educator. Responsibilities will include teaching courses and lab sections for science majors, non-science majors, and graduate students as well as coordinating labs for large, multi-section courses in microbiology, cell biology and genetics. The specific courses will depend on the area of applicant specialization.
