In this role you will coordinate, prepare and analyze financial information and reports that provide summary information for the management team.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Gather, review, analyze and report on financial metrics </li><li>Monitor bank accounts and cash positions </li><li>Prepare various daily, monthly, quarterly, or annual financial reports and statements including income statements, balance sheets, management reports, tax returns and reports for governmental regulatory agencies. </li><li>Fixed asset accounting and audits </li><li>Prepare Parts and Tech bonus calculations </li><li>Make necessary corrections and/or adjustments to receive accurate report information </li><li>Examine accounting information contained in reports and exhibits and trace and reconcile unusual variances </li><li>Perform complex account reconciliations </li><li>Assist in the preparation of budgets and strategic plans </li><li>Oversee inventory reporting </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>3+ years in public accounting with audit experience or 5+ years in accounting or financial management position </li><li>Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance discipline </li><li>CPA designation preferred </li><li>Proficient with accounting systems and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) </li><li>Strong understanding of financial concepts such as Budgets, Return on Investment (ROI), and Net Operating Return on Assets (NORA) </li><li>Strong understanding of financial statements, cash flow, key financial ratios, internal controls, and disclosure and financial reporting requirements </li><li>Strong computer skills with an in-depth knowledge of Excel </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills </li><li>High level of attention to detail and accuracy </li></ul> <p>Start your Road to Success at AKRS Equipment by applying through the career site at www.akrs.com today!</p> <p>EOE</p>
