<p>Foley Fish is looking for a Logistic Specialist $26.92/ HR</p> <p>Position Summary: A Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing various aspects of a company's shipping segment (customers not being delivered on company affiliated truck).</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Coordinating transportation (air and truck), providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments. </li><li>Manages "last mile" partners and review opportunities for new partners. </li><li>Reviews and updates freight costs and ensures costs are being appropriately allocated to customers. </li><li>Responding to customer inquiries and referring clients to the proper channels. </li><li>Reviewing purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy. </li><li>Making special shipping arrangements as necessary. </li><li>Tracking and fixing shipping errors. </li><li>Preparing bills and invoices. </li><li>Provides clerical support for inbound and outbound logistical operations. </li><li>May Support a variety of logistical functions, including sourcing, receiving, purchasing, and dispatching, including overseeing the 3-way match with accounting and production. </li><li>Assist and Coordinate with inventory management, warehousing, and transportation in order to optimize inventory levels and minimize costs. </li><li>Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function. </li><li>Has gained proficiency in multiple competencies relevant to the job. </li><li>Reports to a manager. </li><li>Supports the sales and operations team by generating a variety of reports and providing administrative support. </li></ul> <p>About You:</p> <ul> <li>Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Typically requires 3-5 years of related experience or may need 2 years' experience with additional specialized training and/or certification. </li></ul> <p>#LI-MD1</p>
