Day.</p> <p>Job Description:</p> <p>The Cardiology Technician is a skilled professional responsible for delivering comprehensive cardiac diagnostic services that go beyond standard EKG testing. This role encompasses advanced modalities such as cardiac stress testing, ambulatory heart monitoring, patient enrollment for cardiac monitoring devices, ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic data for optimal patient care. The technician operates specialized software, including the MUSE application, and collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams to support complex cardiac care.</p> <p>Experience/Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Completion of an associate degree in related health services or equivalent preferred. </li><li>Coursework in basic ECG interpretation beneficial. </li><li>Six months or more experience in cardio-diagnostics preferred. </li><li>1-2 years of experience performing stress testing and managing ambulatory monitoring devices preferred. </li><li>Proficiency with MUSE or similar cardiac data management systems; multi-vendor device data platforms (Care Link, Merlin.net, Latitude, Biotronik) preferred. </li><li>Current BLS certification (or obtained within 90 days of hire) per organizational policy (e.g., AHA BLS for Healthcare Providers or Red Cross Professional Rescuer with AED). </li><li>Knowledge of basic medical terminology and proficiency with personal computers and clinical IT platforms. </li><li>Certified Cardiovascular Technician (CCT) desired. </li><li>Complete Basic ECG class with a score of 85% or higher within one year of hire or test out. </li></ul> <p>Employee Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Full benefits packages available for part- and full-time status. </li><li>PTO accrual from day one! </li><li>Generous retirement plan with match available. </li><li>Wellness program for employees and their families. </li></ul> <p>Aspirus Wausau Hospital, the flagship of the Aspirus system, serves northeastern Minnesota, northern and central Wisconsin, and Michigan's Upper Peninsula.
