If you're enthusiastic about working in an environment with a people-first culture and an organization committed to good living, good food and good service, we'd love to talk to you!</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities</p> <p>This is a DUAL Position</p> <p>The Warehouse Yard Spotter/Receiver will Safely operate yard trucks to move trailers between yard locations, loading docks, and designated areas.Inspect trailers for safety, cleanliness, and maintenance issues before moving.</p> <p>Also responsible for receiving merchandise and materials from outside vendors. Responsible for handling, unpacking, or uncrating merchandise and materials for routing or storage in the proper department.</p> <p>WORK SCHEDULE: SUNDAY - THURSDAY 10:30PM - 7AM</p> <p>Essential Functions</p> <p>Must be able to read and understand PO's, packing slips and BOL's</p> <p>Read descriptions of items being received</p> <p>Sort and separate items accurately</p> <p>Identify any damaged items to avoid receiving into inventory</p> <p>Break down pallets as needed</p> <p>Work in a cold environment for long periods of time (30 to 40 degrees)</p> <p>Monitor yard inventory and communicate with dispatchers and warehouse personnel to prioritize trailer movements.</p> <p>Assist in organizing and maintaining a clean and orderly yard.</p> <p>Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of yard trucks and report any mechanical issues.</p> <p>Maintain accurate records of trailer movements and equipment usage.</p> <p>Follow all safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).</p> <p>Assist with other yard and warehouse duties as assigned.</p> <p>Be housekeeping friendly and always be cooperative to meet the business needs and open to crosstraining</p> <p>Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED equivalent required. </li><li>Class A license with 1 year minimum experience </li><li>A minimum of two (2) years previous experience working in a warehouse environment. </li></ul> <p>Additional Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Previous experience operating powered industrial equipment (i.e., forklift, pallet jacks, stock pickers, etc.). </li><li>Warehouse computer system knowledge strongly preferred. </li><li>Ability to communicate well with internal customers and management. </li><li>Ability to follow safe working practices, as instructed. </li><li>Ability to efficiently work independent of direct supervision. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <p>The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
