<p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Manages and coordinates the day to day aspects of the Provider Services team members. Monitors and improves the workflows, reporting and compliance in the payroll, leaves of absence, workers compensation and retirement areas. Responsible for the oversight of physician pay in compliance with physician contracts.</p> <ul> <li>Works with HR vendors, auditors and consultants regarding services, premiums and administration of the functional areas. Establishes and maintains positive relationships with third parties and ensures contracted services are upheld by the vendors. Manages vendor, auditor, consultant issues and escalations as necessary. </li><li>Conducts periodic review of functional areas to ensure compliance and efficiency. Recommends and/or implements improved processes and/or efficiencies. </li><li>Ensures that processes are documented and updated regularly and determines when new processes or policies are necessary and oversees the creation and implementation process to meet SLA guidelines </li><li>Oversees departmental and organizational projects for the functional areas of responsibility and ensures a successful outcome. </li><li>Monitors work performance of staff and supports necessary training and coaching. Provides regular feedback to employees. As needed, initiates timely corrective action and warnings within Human Resources policies and procedures. </li><li>Supports the ongoing technical and professional training and development of staff to enhance individual performance and career growth which ultimately benefits the department and the organization. </li><li>Completes and communicates the annual employee reviews to assigned staff members based on ongoing positive and constructive feedback and attainable goals developed throughout the year. </li><li>Oversight over the PS Data Team projects such as maintaining and creating leave plans, vendor changes and possible future PCF updates. In addition, oversight over offboarding processes to ensure they are processed correctly and timely. </li><li>Oversight over all FTE changes/salary changes and approve exceptions to our pay deadline such as late submissions and off cycle payments </li><li>Maintains a consultative relationship with CommonSpirit Health Divisions, System Office and external partners to advance and enhance service provided </li><li>Collaborates with team members, HR Business Partners, and stakeholders to develop, implement, and maintain an innovative and comprehensive strategy that supports all elements of provider onboarding, offboarding, retention, and question/issue resolution </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in human resources or business or the equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. </li><li>Professional training and/or certification such ICMI, CPO, Six Sigma / Lean Six Sigma, PMP and/or other industry recognized certifications are considered a plus, but not required. </li><li>Five year's progressively responsible experience in Human Resources field or in the management of employee benefit programs, leaves of absence and workers compensation along with understanding of productivity-based pay. </li></ul> <p>Must have demonstrated knowledge and/or skills in the following areas:</p> <ul> <li>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal </li><li>Skills demonstrating effective analysis and decision making </li><li>Presentation skills </li><li>General knowledge of HR tools and processes </li><li>Demonstrated skills to assess customer service requirements </li><li>Strong problem-solving skills </li><li>Ability to train and develop staff </li><li>Understanding of HR industry technology, vendors and tools </li><li>Ability to organize information, people and messages to deliver on agenda </li><li>Ability to effectively communicate strategy and execute strategic initiatives within an operations environment </li></ul> <p>#LI-CSH</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>Inspired by faith.
