<p>This position performs dishwashing activities with primary responsibility for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of kitchen work areas, storerooms, and equipment; and transporting dishes, china, and equipment between storage and work areas.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li>Cleans debris from dirty dishes, uses proper equipment including a dishwashing machine to wash, sanitize, and dry plates, glassware, flatware, dishes, pots, pans, etc. </li><li>Uses cleaning chemicals as directed and follows company procedures as directed. </li><li>Returns all clean kitchen utensils and equipment to proper storage location. </li><li>Transports supplies and equipment between storage and work areas. </li><li>Performs all duties on position checklist. </li><li>Segregates and removes trash and garbage, and places in designated containers. Takes out trash and recycling. Cleans and maintains interior and exterior trash area. Sweeps and mops floors. </li><li>Complies with local, state, and national regulations pertaining to cleanliness, sanitation, and safety standards. </li><li>Completes all other duties as assigned. </li></ul>
