<p>Scope of Position</p> <p>The Overnight Lobby Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of the hotel's public area during overnight hours. This role ensures a welcoming and well-kept environment for guests arriving late, departing early, or using common areas after hours.</p> <p>Position Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Professional demeanor appropriate for a resort environment. </li><li>Previous housekeeping / lobby attendant experience preferred. </li><li>Able to work cohesively as part of a team with minimum supervision. </li><li>Able to focus attention on guest needs. </li><li>Adhere to safety, rules, and company policies. </li><li>Effective at listening to, understanding, clarifying and responding to the concerns and issues raised by guests. </li><li>Knowledge of proper chemical handling, cleaning techniques and use of equipment/ machinery. </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Provide upkeep to the lobby areas to ensure they are clean and presentable. </li><li>Clean and sanitize all lobby and public spaces, including floors, furniture, restrooms, hallways, and elevators. </li><li>Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, and polish surfaces as needed. </li><li>Replenish supplies in public restrooms and lobby areas. </li><li>Maintain housekeeping closets and storage areas in an organized manner. </li><li>Maintain the cleanliness of entrances, and exterior hallways. </li><li>Inspect the condition of furniture for tears, rips, and stains and report damages. </li><li>Ability to assist guests with inquiries and requests while in the lobby. </li><li>Ability to keep the back area of Front Desk neat and clean. </li><li>Ability to complete special projects, as assigned, including regular deep cleaning. </li><li>Ensure that the hotel, guests, and associates are maintained in a clean, safe and secure environment. </li><li>Perform any other reasonable duties as required by management. </li></ul> <p>Education</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma </li></ul> <p>Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Ability to communicate in the English language (Second language is a plus). </li><li>Able to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends. </li><li>Able to perform multiple tasks. </li><li>Good interpersonal skills </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Physical agility and ability to move quickly in confined spaces. </li><li>Also requires standing/walking/reaching and bending throughout shift. </li><li>Ability to push / pull 100lbs. </li><li>Ability to lift 50lbs. </li><li>Think clearly in high stress and intense situations. </li><li>Ability to multitask and give direction under pressure. </li><li>Stand or walk for extended periods of time. </li><li>Work in areas of high heat and humidity. </li></ul>
