Qualifications:</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Education / Certification: Bachelor's degree and valid SBEC Teacher Certification in the area of expertise (Reading /Language Arts or Math)</p> <p>Special Knowledge/Skills: Demonstrate expertise in teaching the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS); understanding of beginning teacher development; knowledge of formative assessments; effective interpersonal skills and willingness to work collaboratively with teachers; effective coaching, and conferencing skills; demonstrate commitment to professional growth and learning; demonstrate effectiveness as a professional role model; demonstrate use of best teaching practices; understanding of and ability to use teacher development research; use of data to show successful implementation of research-proven best practices in your classroom</p> <p>Experience:</p> <p>Experience:</p> <p>3-5 years of successful teaching experience in mathematics as indicated by student achievement data</p> <p>Leadership experience such as grade level chair, lead teacher, curriculum writer, creating/presenting professional learning in math</p> <p>Experience teaching intermediate grades (4-8) and/or secondary grades (9-12) preferred</p> <p>Extensive professional learning in mathematics is preferred</p> <p>Instructional coach experience preferred</p> <p>Education/Certification:</p> <p>Highly Qualified in the appropriate content ( Math) and grade configuration</p> <p>Bachelor's Degree Required</p> <p>Master's Degree preferred</p> <p>Benefits: District pays $350 monthly towards health insurance for full time employees.</p> <p>Employee has the option of purchasing supplemental insurance policies (including but not limited to dental, vision, disability, cancer, heart) including supplemental life insurance for dependents.</p>
