Click here for more information on benefits for full-time United University Professions (UUP) faculty.</p> <p>Date of Appointment: January or August 2025</p> <p>Description of Responsibilities:</p> <p>The Computer Science department seeks to hire multiple faculty, each with primary interests and expertise in one of the following areas, and secondary interests in one or more of the others:</p> <ul> <li>Information Systems Engineering: retrieval, knowledge representation, requirements specification, applications programming </li><li>Health Informatics </li><li>Artificial intelligence and cognitive models </li><li>Sequential, parallel, and distributed algorithms and software development </li></ul> <p>Faculty members teach and perform associated curriculum development, assessment, and accreditation support for core and elective courses in one or more of the department's undergraduate programs in Computer Science, Information Science, Software Engineering, and Cognitive Science, and/or graduate programs in Biomedical Health Informatics and Human Computer Interaction.
