We are looking to add a Residential HVAC Service Technician to our team!</p> <p>The Residential HVAC Service Technician is an expert in maintenance and has the ability diagnose and correct HVAC system problems. This includes replacing parts and adjusting system controls for better performance by using special tools and diagnostic equipment.</p> <p>Why Work for Allen Service?</p> <ul> <li> <p>Great company culture that focuses on growth, teamwork, and respect, and we like to have fun too!</p> </li><li> <p>Employee benefits start on the 1st of the month following hire date.</p> </li><li> <p>Medical (3 affordable medical plans to choose from), Dental and Vision Insurance</p> </li><li> <p>Company Paid Benefits: Short-Term and Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance</p> </li><li> <p>Employee Assistance Program (EAP)</p> </li><li> <p>Optional Benefits: Flexible Spending Accounts, Health Savings Accounts, Supplemental Medical Insurance, Pet Insurance, and ID & Legal Shield</p> </li><li> <p>401k with Company Match!</p> </li><li> <p>Tuition Reimbursement</p> </li><li> <p>Paid Time Off and 9 Paid Holidays</p> </li><li> <p>Compensation: $23-$30/hr based on experience</p> </li></ul> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Build strong customer relationships by providing knowledge and understanding of new and existing customer needs and expectations. </li><li>Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair residential and light commercial air conditioning and multi-zone heating and cooling systems. </li><li>Troubleshoot and repair all electrical and mechanical components of HVAC equipment. </li><li>Provide start-ups and troubleshooting for residential and light commercial HVAC systems. </li><li>Explain replacement opportunities for aging, inefficient or underperforming systems. </li><li>Understand your service criteria and hold yourself accountable for exceeding revenue goals. </li><li>Maintain a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck. </li><li>Be accurate and timely with invoices, timecards, curbside feedback, and option sheets. </li><li>Participate actively in all training exercises, continued education, morning meetings, trade shows and retreats. </li></ul> <p>What You Bring:</p> <ul> <li>2+ years of HVAC service experience (residential and light commercial) </li><li>EPA Type II or Universal Certification (NATE preferred) </li><li>Your own tools, gauges, and multimeter </li><li>Experience interacting with customers, building customer trust, and promoting repeat business </li><li>A clean driving record and valid license </li><li>A professional appearance and positive attitude </li><li>Must be able to pass drug screen and background check </li></ul>
