<p>Job Title: Quality Control ManagerJob Description</p> <p>We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Manager to lead and implement the entire Quality Control (QC) program. The role involves attending all post-award conferences, CQC plan meetings, coordination and mutual understanding meetings, and conducting CQC meetings. The manager will perform the three phases of the quality control process, oversee submittal reviews and approvals, and ensure all testing is performed to the highest standards.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Implement and manage the entire QC program. </li><li>Attend all relevant meetings including post-award conferences, CQC plan meetings, and coordination meetings. </li><li>Conduct CQC meetings regularly. </li><li>Perform the three phases of quality control process meticulously. </li><li>Review and approve submittals effectively. </li><li>Ensure all necessary testing is conducted in compliance with standards. </li></ul> <p>Essential Skills</p> <ul> <li>Active Quality Control certification. </li><li>Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction as a quality control manager, supervisor, or safety officer. </li><li>Experience in managing projects valued at $25 million or more. </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Ability to obtain an AOC Badge. </li></ul> <p>Additional Skills & Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Experience with MEP systems. </li><li>Experience in federal construction and compliance with OSHA standards. </li><li>Knowledge of US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) protocols. </li><li>Certification as a Quality Control Manager. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment</p> <p>This position is based at a construction site in Fort Meade, working primarily day shifts. The current project involves overseeing the construction of a $40 million insulated warehouse, which includes new steel structures, concrete work, MEP installations, and the total build. The project is one year in with two years remaining.
