<p>Job Overview:</p> <p>We are looking for a material handler/inventory specialist for our manufacturing division. While there is some heavy lifting, it is nothing like picking up 50# cases over your head over and over again. Most of the heavy stuff is placed on pallets and moved by forklifts and pallet jacks. Working with a team of other material handlers, you will move our inventory from one production area to a rack, then to another production area. We will be required to use electronics to document locations and other related warehouse things. Other days, you may assist with wrapping and packaging some of our equipment.</p> <p>We love to bring people in with experience, as we want your ideas on how we can be better. But, if you dont have any experience, thats fine also. We can gladly train you. While you are working, there is a good chance that youll hear arguing between coworkers on UK vs Louisville, but thats because the people we work with are like family. We encourage a team atmosphere and like to have fun at work. We need to get the job done, but we also really want to have a place that people like working at. Oh, one last thingour regular schedule runs Mon-Thurs. So, unless we are swamped and working OT, you can plan to have off Fri-Sun.</p> <p>Work Environment</p> <ul> <li>Very casual clothes permitted (shorts, t-shirt, and sneakers are no problem). </li><li>You can listen to music on your headphones at work (as long as it can be done safely). </li><li>We are one of the few manufacturing plants in Louisville with AC and heating. </li><li>Can you believe that so many places wont allow you to have your cell phone with you at work? Not us.
