We have several openings for In-Person math tutors who would like to help kids in a fun and upbeat environment. This job starts in September 2024.</p> <p>No official tutoring experience needed but …</p> <ol> <li> <p>Must be strong in math through Algebra 1.</p> </li><li> <p>Must enjoy working with kids (1st-8th grade).</p> </li><li> <p>An SAT Math score 700+ or ACT equivalent.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be open to learning new ways of teaching math and working with children.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be in 11th grade or older.</p> </li></ol> <p>To Apply:</p> <p>Fill out our application at www.mathsense.com/hiring</p> <p>Your Role:</p> <p>You'll be working with students grades 1-8, explaining math. All worksheets and lesson plans are prepared by center directors and prepared for you.</p> <p>Working Hours:</p> <p>Flexible Hours - You choose when you work: 2, 3, or 4 shifts/week</p> <p>Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu : 3:00 pm - 7:30 pm Fri: 3:00 pm - 6pm (Needham, and Wellesley) Sat, Sun: 10am - 2pm (Only Newton, Wellesley, Fresh Pond, and Brookline Center)</p> <p>For your information:</p> <p>DO NOT SEND RESUMES.
