<p>Responsibilities</p> <p>The Mobile Core Network Manager will lead a high-performing team of geographically-diverse engineers to ensure reliable and high-performance mobile network operations. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end management of all core network functions, including the planning, deployment, and day-to-day operations of mobile services. The role requires deep expertise in signaling, voice networking, SMS, data services and international roaming.</p> <p>Core Network Operations and Management</p> <ul> <li>Oversee all aspects of operations and engineering for the core network infrastructure. </li><li>Ensure the continuous operation and high availability of core network elements (e.g., HLR/HSS, PGW, GMSC, SMSC) and services. </li><li>Manage and maintain the core signaling components (STP and DRA) to ensure reliable inter-operator services. </li></ul> <p>Roaming</p> <ul> <li>Support international roaming agreement implementation including IREG and TADIG testing, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting. </li><li>Troubleshoot roaming issues in support of customers. </li></ul> <p>Network Monitoring and Management</p> <ul> <li>Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) for the network and supported services. </li><li>Expand and improve existing network monitoring tools and services. </li></ul> <p>Vendor Management</p> <ul> <li>Manage relationships with vendors for network equipment procurement, contract negotiation, and service delivery. </li><li>Handle trouble reporting and resolution with vendors. </li></ul> <p>Team Management</p> <ul> <li>Lead diverse teams, foster collaboration, coaching, and high-quality delivery. </li></ul> <p>Innovation & R&D</p> <ul> <li>Identify emerging technologies to enhance network performance and reduce operating costs. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Minimum 10 years in telecommunications or related fields with proven success working with and managing mobile network technologies. </li><li>5 + years managing engineering teams that include operations and engineering. </li><li>Deep knowledge of all generations of mobile technology, SS7/ Diameter signaling, IMS, data services, VAS platforms, and international roaming. </li><li>Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering or relateddiscipline. </li><li>Strategic thinker, strong communicator, collaborative leaderand mentor. </li></ul> <p>Peraton Overview</p> <p>Peraton is a next-generation national security company that drives missions of consequence spanning the globe and extending to the farthest reaches of the galaxy. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations.
