<p>Position Summary: Cleans and services assigned area according to performance and safety standards to ensure a clean, comfortable, safe and attractive environment.</p> <p>Job Title: EVS Attendant</p> <p>Department: Environmental Services</p> <p>Reports To: Supervisor EVS</p> <p>FLSA Designation: Non-Exempt</p> <p>License Type: Non-Gaming</p> <p>Target Pay: Start - $23.04 One Year - $25.60</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Keep all public and designated back of the house areas free of debris (i.e. glasses, bottles, cans, paper, etc.) </li><li>Clean and sanitize back of house and public areas in casino as directed </li><li>Remove and dispose of trash from all trash receptacles and replace liners in public and back of house areas </li><li>Keep all public and back of house restrooms clean and stocked </li><li>Clean all floor and wall tile areas in casino as directed </li><li>Vacuuming of all carpeted areas public and back of house </li><li>Dusting, polishing, and general cleaning of all public and back of the house areas in the casino, including all glass, mirrored surfaces and windows </li><li>Sweep and mop stairwells </li><li>Clean all slot machines to include all glass, wood and veneer surfaces </li><li>Clean elevators, elevator tracks, and elevator foyers </li><li>Let the supervisor know of any products that need ordering (Chemicals, equipment, etc.) </li><li>Refill chemical stations and bottles </li><li>All other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Must be familiar with Hazardous Material/SDS procedures and OSHA requirements </li><li>Ability to communicate and maintain a high level of courtesy with casino guests and team members </li><li>Desire and willingness to learn </li><li>Ability to be a TEAM player </li><li>Ability to successfully fulfill the pre-employment process </li><li>Ability to work flexible shifts and days of the week including holidays and weekends </li><li>Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>Regularly required to see, talk and hear; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms; stand and walk </li><li>Must occasionally lift and lift up to 50 pounds </li><li>Frequently required to stoop, crouch or kneel </li><li>Ability to interact with others while maintaining a courteous and positive demeanor </li></ul>
