<p>General Summary & Essential Responsibilities</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY</p> <p>Serves as the department Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) liaison regarding all global workflows and templates within the system. Performs responsible administrative and technical work on projects and activities related to the Asset Management Program and CMMS.. Collaborates with other departments on development trainings plans for the CMMS to ensure an enterprise approach where applicable.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS</p> <ul> <li>Coordinates with the Department Asset Manager for development and revisions to global workflows and work systems through a collaborative enterprise approach. </li><li>Maintains departmental staff access rights and permissions within the CMMS. </li><li>Provides training for departments employees using the CMMS. </li><li>Develops and enhances enterprise data analytics and reporting methodologies. </li><li>Assists with the identification and development of business process improvements to optimize whole life cycle value of department assets. </li><li>Ensures accurate work order information is entered into asset management systems to process and trend data to determine maximum operating efficiency and determine maintenance schedule needs for assets. </li><li>Collaborates with County Management for reporting to improve asset utilization and reduce capital and operating costs. </li><li>Applies data analytical skills in the development of data/reporting tools. </li><li>Develops and or maintains reports aiding in the ongoing refinement and update of average daily performance criteria. </li><li>Assists with departmental operations during emergency response. </li><li>Collaborates and assists managers, supervisors, and operations/maintenance crews to create and update preventative maintenance daily schedules and system asset information. </li><li>Performs regular analysis and coordination to resolve daily operational, technical, or administrative problems as pertains to data management. </li><li>Aides in the development and implementation of automated / Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and workflows.? </li><li>Supports End-User defined /CMMS administrative functions. </li><li>Assists with the preparation of project budgets, departmental budgets, and updates to project financial models. </li><li>Provides exceptional customer assistance, problem-solving, and/or complaint resolution by all forms of communication.? </li></ul> <p>Min. Education, Licenses and Certifications</p> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <p>An equivalent combination of relevant training, education and experience:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Associate's Degree</p> </li><li> <p>Preferred:</p> </li><li> <p>Accounting</p> </li><li> <p>Business Administration</p> </li><li> <p>Construction Management</p> </li><li> <p>Project Management</p> </li><li> <p>Information Technology (I.T.)</p> </li><li> <p>Three (3) years of experience in field operations and maintenance, construction, administration, technical or facilities maintenance, or asset management.</p> </li><li> <p>Preferred:</p> </li><li> <p>Asset management experience</p> </li></ul> <p>Licenses and/or Certificates:</p> <ul> <li>Must maintain a valid driver's license. </li><li>Within six (6) months of position assignment: </li><li>The Institute of Asset Management (IAM) Asset Management Certificate </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge of departmental policies, plans, and procedures. </li><li>Knowledge of modern office practices, plans, and procedures. </li><li>Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other job-related computer programs and software applications. </li><li>General knowledge of Geographic Information System (GIS) data maintenance and analysis using ArcGIS. </li><li>Knowledge of materials, equipment, methods, and techniques used in architecture, engineering and construction, maintenance, and repair.? </li><li>Skill in the use of standard office computer equipment and software applications.? </li><li>Skill in assembling, utilizing, and reporting data through the use of one or more specialized databases, spreadsheets, or other software. </li><li>Research and analytical skills; problem-solving skills; organization, project-management, and time-management skills.? </li><li>Skill in effective communication, both orally and in writing. </li><li>Skill in prioritizing and organizing work. </li><li>Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; and the ability to make effective presentations.? </li><li>Ability to operate a motor vehicle. </li><li>Ability to provide internal/external guidance and customer assistance via all forms of communication. </li><li>Ability to use computers for data entry, word processing, and/or accounting purposes. </li><li>Ability to author reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. </li><li>Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with managers, service providers, other employees, and the general public. </li></ul> <p>Supplemental Information</p> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS</p> <p>Walking, lifting, hearing, seeing up close, seeing far away, talking, standing, finger movement, repetitive motions, depth perception. Dependent upon position assignment, may frequently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.</p> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT</p> <p>Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, potentially exposed to temperamental changes (e.g., field conditions, warehouses, tight spaces, equipment, etc.) or irate customers, extreme noise, odors, heights and/or dust.</p> <p>RISK/SAFETY CONDITIONS</p> <p>The position requires no exposure or risk related to physical and/or mental health and safety.</p> <p>Charlotte County is an Affirmative Action/ADA/Veterans' Preference and Equal Opportunity Employer.
