Submit an application here at GovernmentJobs.com</p> <p>Job Title District Aide (District 48)</p> <p>Salary $46,356.00 Annually</p> <p>Job Type Salaried Full-Time</p> <p>Location Winter Haven</p> <p>Office H District 048</p> <p>General Summary</p> <p>State Representative Jon Albert is now accepting applications in his Winter Haven, Florida office to assist with a variety of administrative and public relations matters requiring a thorough understanding of the policies, procedures, and operating practices of the Florida Legislature.</p> <p>Examples of Work Performed</p> <ul> <li>Constituent Management </li><li>Day-to-day Operations: Monthly Bills, Office Files, Office Property, Office Supplies, Office Communications </li><li>Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Reports </li><li>Intradistrict Travel </li><li>Municipal, County, and Regional Issues Related to the District </li><li>Community and Public Outreach </li></ul> <p>Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Knowledge and application of House Rules, Protocol, House-specific Applications, House Administrative Policies and the Legislature's Joint Policies and Procedures. </li><li>Constituent Management </li><li>Day-to-day Operations: Monthly Bills, Office Files, Office Property, Office Supplies, Office Communications </li><li>Prepare Monthly and Quarterly Reports </li><li>Manage Office Expense Accounts and Travel System </li><li>Required Legislative Filings </li><li>Municipal, County, and Regional Issues Related to the District </li><li>Community and Public Outreach </li><li>Mandatory Trainings as Assigned </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>An Associate's Degree from an accredited college or university and two years of administrative experience; or a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university.</p> <p>Professional administrative experience can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.</p> <p>Salary: Annual $46,356</p> <p>The Legislature offers a competitive benefits package.
