<p>Life as an Accounting Clerk:</p> <ul> <li>Works closely with the Accounting Manager and General Manager to update the accounting systems with invoicing, payments, inventories, and budgets. </li><li>Efficiently manages accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and deposits. This may include making calls to new and outstanding accounts to keep the AR Aging in line with company procedures. </li><li>Organizes, secures, and maintains all files, records, cash and cash equivalents in accordance with policies and procedures. </li><li>Assists in responses to data request from Corporate Controllers to research vendor accounts, print financial reports and other ad-hoc assignments. </li><li>Complete period-end closing procedures and reports as specified. </li><li>Other Accounting administrative tasks as assigned. </li></ul> <p>What we're looking for:</p> <ul> <li>A minimum 3 years' accounting experience in hospitality and tourism environment. </li><li>Excellent interpersonal skills including excellent verbal and written communication skills. </li><li>Ability to work effectively and accurately under deadlines. </li><li>Must be highly skilled at multitasking and be very organized. </li><li>Must work well in team environment and present a professional demeanor. </li><li>Experience with Fosse and M3 systems preferred. </li></ul> <p>What to expect in your first few months:</p> <p>First, you will learn the Company's policies, procedures, and processes.
