In addition to being part of a family-owned and growing company, we offer great pay and excellent benefits including Medical, Dental, and Vision, 401K and Pension Plan, a discount for shopping, paid time off, weekly pay, and more!</p> <p>To grow community through building guest loyalty and providing personal guest interactions that build genuine relationships with guests and result in a brand-aligned experience.</p> <p>Pay starts at $17/hour.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ol> <li> <p>Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with all guests.</p> </li><li> <p>Prepare product for sale (icing, decorating, pricing, packaging and labeling).</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain product level, quality and freshness.</p> </li><li> <p>When requested perform bakery clerk functions.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area.</p> </li><li> <p>Properly cleans work area, couplers and decorating bags.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain the organization of the freezer, including proper rotation of product according to variety.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate guest requests to management.</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate temperature breakdowns to supervisor.</p> </li><li> <p>Keeps supply area neat, clean and tidy at all times.</p> </li><li> <p>Properly rotates icings (including how to read dates of icings) and scrapes down buckets.</p> </li><li> <p>Use cake manual as reference material.</p> </li><li> <p>Write on cakes.</p> </li><li> <p>Properly mix colors according to color chart.</p> </li><li> <p>Masters the use of the airbrush.</p> </li><li> <p>Use cake production sheet.</p> </li><li> <p>Achieve budgeted sales, shrink and profits for the cake section of the bakery.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform all other duties as assigned by management.</p> </li><li> <p>Performs Front Porch duties to ensure "guest arrival" standard is maintained.</p> </li><li> <p>Announce specials and sale info on the PA system.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in product receiving and storage.</p> </li></ol> <p>Qualifications</p> <ol> <li> <p>Friendly, outgoing personality.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work well with others.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to read and understand information and direction.</p> </li><li> <p>Effective communication, guest service and selling skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Must be at least 18 years old.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.</p> </li></ol>
