<p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Bluefield University is seeking an experienced and dedicated online adjunct faculty member to develop and teach courses in our Master's in Human Services program. This position requires a strong academic background in Human Services or Social Work and offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth of a dynamic, student-centered graduate program.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Design and develop graduate-level online courses in Human Services. </li><li>Deliver engaging and rigorous instruction in an online format. </li><li>Assess student performance and provide timely, constructive feedback. </li><li>Maintain regular communication with students and program leadership. </li><li>Adhere to institutional and departmental policies and standards. </li><li>Ability to use the Learning Management System (Canvas) and other relevant technology to facilitate the course. A Canvas training course is required. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Earned doctorate (Ph.D. or DSW) in Human Services, Social Work, or a closely related field. </li><li>Demonstrated experience in course development and instruction at the graduate level, preferably in an online environment. </li><li>Strong communication and organizational skills. </li><li>Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in teaching and mentoring. </li></ul> <p>Compensation:</p> <ul> <li>A competitive stipend will be provided for course development. </li><li>Adjunct faculty pay rate per course taught. </li></ul> <p>Approvals</p> <p>The job duties, responsibilities, functions, and requirements delineated above should not be interpreted as an all-inclusive list of same.
