<p>Job Description</p> <p>Primary Function: Responsible for the production of shell molds.</p> <p>Principle Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Hangs wax setups on conveyor line. </li><li>Prepares, maintains and tests slurries per procedures. </li><li>Applies correct slurries and stuccos to patterns per procedures through manual dipping or robot operation. </li><li>Applies core pack to patterns. </li><li>Uses the dry time system per procedures. </li><li>Performs "tear down" of setups from hangers. (Takes setups off conveyor line and cleans shell off </li></ul> <p>of hangers using hammer and air tool chisel.)</p> <ul> <li>Performs dewax operations using proper procedures. </li><li>Blows off excess sand per procedures. </li><li>Maintains lot integrity. </li><li>Ensures paperwork is done properly. </li><li>Helps other areas as needed. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Able to work in a production environment. </li><li>Able to read and comprehend English. </li><li>Able to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with tens and 100s. </li><li>Able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. frequently. </li><li>Able to read and interpret documents, such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, </li></ul> <p>and procedure manuals.</p> <ul> <li>Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
