The unregulated overflow of information, astronomical-scale storage capacities, and unprecedentedly fast and affordable connectivity created challenges requiring answers to seemingly banal questions about priorities, weighting, and distinctions of data and information items. Where humans needed to conduct extensive research that often did not meet deadlines, artificial intelligence technologies provided a foundation for generating insights (even preliminary ones) within second

The breakthrough of AI technology extends to the field of cybersecurity and information security, focusing on two main aspects: (a) Leveraging AI engines to detect early indicators of security failures (including data leaks) or the emergence of cyberattacks as early as possible; and (b) Identifying security failures during their occurrence. These two aspects emphasize AI's potential to achieve desired security outcomes, aiming to prevent or reduce the damage caused by security failures or targeted cyberattacks

The AI SECURITY field is a new domain combining engineering and research.
