Candidates should be passionate about SACS's mission and vision and have a proven track record of achieving academic success with a diverse student body.</p> <p>KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Working with and for Students: Aligning curricular standards with state guidelines Monitoring student progress through standards-based assessments Analyzing student data Differentiating instruction Teaching 4 English classes per day (with 2 periods reserved for preparation and collaboration) Tutoring one day per week after school Support, plan and/or co-lead Service-Learning projects Advising students through daily Connections class (homeroom) Input academic and behavioral data on the school data management system Analyze student data and monitor student progress through standards-based assessments</p> <p>Working with and for Families: Participate in Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences three times per year Communicate regularly with families about academic and social progress Co-host IEP meetings</p> <p>Working with and for Colleagues: Build and maintain strong school culture centered on student achievement Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the success of the school mission Participate in weekly professional development sessions Participate in weekly grade-level team meetings Inputting academic and behavioral data on the school data management system</p> <p>Who You Are: You are a skilled educator.
